The Standing Calf works to strengthen the range of motion in the ankle as well as the entire lower leg. The station enables users to transition between different foot placements to change the intensity of stress on the muscles. By pointing the feet outwards, users can isolate their inner calf muscles. In contrast, by pointing the feet inwards, users isolate the outer calf muscles instead.
