The Select Fitness SF-3 Functional Half Rack is a commercial-grade, space-efficient training system that combines the core strength of a half rack with the versatility of a dual-stack functional trainer. Standing 89 inches tall, the SF-3 provides full range for pull-ups and high cable positions, while its dual 160 lb weight stacks ensure smooth, consistent resistance for both strength and functional training. Built from 11-gauge steel, this unit is engineered to handle heavy use while maintaining rock-solid stability.

Note: The installation of the Front stabilizers are recommended. The unit must be bolted down if stabilizers are not installed.

The Select Fitness SF-3 includes free curbside shipping to most locations across Canada.

Some remote, rural or service-restricted areas may require an additional shipping charge.

If your delivery address falls outside our standard free shipping area, we will contact you before processing your order to discuss any additional freight charges. No additional shipping fees will be charged without your approval.

All components of the machine—including the frame, cable system, weight stacks, hardware and accessories—are securely packed inside this single crate.

Curbside Delivery

Free shipping includes curbside delivery only.

The freight carrier will unload the crate from the truck and place it at the curb or as close to your property as conditions safely allow.

The final placement of the crate is at the driver's discretion and may vary depending on truck access, driveway slope, weather conditions and the equipment available on the delivery vehicle.

Delivery does not include:

• Bringing the crate into your home, garage or building
• Carrying equipment to the installation area
• Uncrating the shipment
• Assembly
• Removal of packaging materials

Moving the Equipment

Because the shipping crate weighs approximately 800 lb, it is not intended to be moved by hand once delivered.

Instead, we recommend opening the crate where it is delivered and carrying the individual components to the installation area.

Moving the machine one component at a time is the safest and easiest method and is how most customers complete the process.

We recommend having at least two adults available to move the components safely.

Bringing the Equipment Inside

Although the SF-3 ships in one wooden crate, the machine is not one large piece.

All components are packaged individually inside the crate and are designed to be unpacked and carried into your home one piece at a time.

Unlike fully assembled equipment, the individual components can typically be carried through standard residential doorways, making the SF-3 suitable for most homes, garages and basement gyms.

We recommend unpacking the crate at the delivery location and transporting the components individually to the installation area.

Opening the Crate

The wooden crate is secured using metal retaining tabs.

To safely open the crate, we recommend having the following tools available:

• Hammer
• Flat-head screwdriver
• Needle-nose pliers

These tools allow the retaining tabs to be bent back so the top of the crate can be safely removed.

Before Your Delivery

Before your shipment arrives, we recommend:

• Clearing the room where the equipment will be installed.
• Measuring doorways, hallways and stairways to ensure all components can be moved safely into your home.
• Confirming your ceiling height meets the minimum requirements listed in the product specifications.
• Arranging for assistance to move the equipment from the delivery location to the installation area.

DIY Assembly

The SF-3 includes detailed assembly instructions and the basic tools required for assembly.

While the included tools are sufficient, many customers find that using their own socket wrench and metric sockets makes assembly faster and easier.

Estimated Assembly Time

• First-time DIY assembly: Approximately 6–10 hours
• Professional installation crew: Approximately 2–4 hours

For safety, we strongly recommend having at least two adults available during assembly.

Helpful Assembly Tips

• Assemble the machine as close as possible to its final location.
• Before installing the weight stacks, make sure the machine is positioned exactly where you want it. Once the weight stacks are installed, the machine becomes significantly heavier and much more difficult to move.
• We recommend unpacking and organizing all components before beginning assembly to make identifying parts easier and keep the installation process organized.
• While the included tools are sufficient, using your own socket wrench and metric sockets can significantly reduce assembly time.
• Refer to the included assembly manual for complete step-by-step installation instructions.

Inspect Your Shipment Before Signing

Please inspect your shipment carefully before signing the freight carrier's delivery receipt.

We strongly recommend taking several photos of the crate from all sides before it is opened. These photos provide valuable documentation should a freight claim be required.

If you notice any visible damage to the crate or packaging:

1. Take clear photos before opening the crate.
2. Note the damage on the freight carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
3. Sign the delivery receipt.
4. Contact Gym Concepts as soon as possible so we can assist with the freight claim process.

Failure to note visible damage on the delivery receipt may affect the freight carrier's ability to process a damage claim.

Condo & Apartment Deliveries

If you live in a condo or apartment building, please confirm the following with your property management before ordering:

• Freight truck access
• Loading dock availability
• Elevator dimensions
• Delivery booking requirements
• Any restrictions for freight deliveries

Residents are typically responsible for moving the shipment from the delivery location to their unit.
